What is the Gustie Cup?

Gustie Cup is a new initiative sponsored by the Campus Activities Board. The Gustie Cup is a year long athletic team competition open to all students and/or organizations. The events you can expect to see this year include tournaments of these sports: Volleyball, Basketball, Broomball, Soccer, Bowling, and Ultimate Frisbee. Teams will have the chance to win up to $1000 for their team. (Remember, this isn’t just for organizations, everyone is welcome to participate)

How does the Gustie Cup work?

Teams compete in monthly tournaments. The winning team of each tournament is awarded a prize worth $100 in value, along with a point system that carries through the the whole year. Which ever team accumulates the most points by the end of the year receives a prize worth $300. Teams are welcome to come to one or all events, and can participate even if you miss the first event. In order to participate your team must register at the Red Desk in Lund or at the Information Desk in the Campus Center.

How can I get more information?

What is the first event?

The first event will be a Volleyball tournament on November 14, 2009. The events starts at 3:00pm in the Lund Center. Free Erbert & Gerberts will be provided. Prize worth $100 awarded to the winning team. To join the tournament, register at the Information Desk in the Campus Center, or at the Red Desk in Lund.
