Announcing Next Year’s Co-Presidents

On behalf of the Campus Activities Board, I am pleased to announce that Hannah Fischer and Katie Batz have been selected as Co-Presidents for the 2011-2012 academic year. Candidates were chosen after an application and interview process, facilitated by current board members. The board feels confident in Hannah and Katie’s ability to foster the board’s professional and personal development among executives, as well as their investment in the the Campus Activities Board as a leading student organization.

Hannah Fischer is a junior Public Accounting major. She is an Economics/Management tutor, accompanist, member of the Gustavus Choir, and current CAB Co-President.

Katie Batz is a sophomore Communication Studies major. She is a member of Chapel Choir, and served as the Fine Arts & Culture/Culture & Diversity Executive on the Campus Activities Board during her fall semester. She is currently studying in Uppsala, Sweden.

I would like to offer congratulations to both of these ladies, on behalf of the Campus Activities Board. Similarly, I formally invite all Gustavus community members to extend their congratulations to next year’s CAB Co-Presidents, Hannah Fischer and Katie Batz.
