Four LineUs alum, Andrew Haaheim ('09), Maggie Sotos ('09), Tane Danger ('07), and Logan Martin ('06) will be on campus May 13th for a night of improv performing for their group, Walrus! Walrus is professional improv troupe based out of the Twin Cities and is made entirely of Gustavus alumni. They have already been selected to play at the Twin Cities Improv Festival this summer.
Our year-long Gustie Cup tournament is winding down with only one more tournament after our April Ultimate Frisbee Gustie Cup tournament last Sunday.
This year the Campus Activities Board is privileged to have the opportunity of bringing Mr. Frank Abagnale to campus. On Tuesday, May 3rd, he'll share his story of adventure, quick decision, and most importantly the road to redemption.
For the 2011-2012 academic year, the Campus Activities Board has created two new Executive positions: Arts & Entertainment, and Weekends. These two will will combination, replace and extend the Fine Arts, Speakers and Films positions.
To better fulfill the needs of the Gustavus students and meet our mission, the Campus Activities Board has voted on four constitution changes that will take effect immediately. We have also restructured the format of the constitution to better reflect our current practices and make it more accessible to the everyday reader.
The 2011-2012 Campus Activities Board executives have been selected. We are excited to announce the board to the Gustavus community and are eagerly anticipating the great things that will come from this highly-qualified group of students. Congratulations to all new executives!
