Posted on December 16th, 2013 by

The Campus Activities Board is very excited to announce that Timeflies will be coming to Gustavus for this year’s Big Concert! The concert is scheduled for Friday, May 9th, 2014. The concert is general admission and will be held in Lund Arena at Gustavus with doors opening at 7pm, show starting at 8pm.

Timeflies formed in October of 2010 and consists of producer Rob Resnick and vocalist Cal Shapiro. After becoming a YouTube sensation with their Timeflies Tuesday free-styling remix videos,  they released their debut album, The Scotch Tape, in September 2011.  Continuing their success, Timeflies released a 6 track EP, One Night, in November 2012 which debuted as #1 on the iTunes overall charts. Using elements of pop, hip-hop, dub step, and rock, Timeflies aims to escape genre limitations to create their expressive music.

Gustavus students, faculty, and staff tickets are currently available online at for $12. General public tickets will be available on March 17th, 2014 for $17. Tickets at the door are $20 for Gustavus students, faculty, and staff, and the general public.
